Tropical Bliss Smoothie Recipe

Papaya Smoothie4Yummy Papayas!!  So happy I found these already ripe in the store!!

I absolutely love tropical fruit because I’m a tropical girl at heart. Having  lived on three islands in Hawaii,  it feels like my soul is always there in the sparkling rainbows, turquoise waters, and bright sunshine! Whenever I visit, it feels like home. Fresh fruit and avocados are always in abundant supply, oh and let’s not  forget about the macadamia nuts : )

Drinking a fresh fruit smoothie every morning has amazing health benefits.

Doing this simple daily routine will have a miraculous impact on your energy levels, skin clarity, spiritual awareness, and overall health.

Fruit is really good for digestion and detoxing the body.

In this smoothie I will be using  papaya, pineapple, bananas, and oranges.

The health benefits of this smoothie are phenomenal!

Papaya SmoothiePapaya: Papayas contain an enzyme called papain that aids in digestion. It improves blood glucose levels, aiding in digestion, promotes a healthy complexion and hair.

Pineapple: One cup of pineapple provides 131% vitamin C for the day. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that can help heal skin damage, and is needed to make healthy collagen. Pineapple is the only known source of an enzyme called bromelain, which helps in alleviating joint pain, arthritis, and reduces inflammation.

Bananas: Bananas contain tryptophan, an amino acid that plays a role in preserving memory and uplifting your mood. Because they are high in potassium they balance blood pressure.

Oranges: Oranges have strong anti-inflammatory properties, which are essential for good health. There is abundant vitamin C in oranges that will protect your immune system and anti-oxidant levels, this is great for beautiful skin.

Tropical Bliss Smoothie Recipe:

  • 2 Cups of Papaya or Mango
  • 2 Cups of Pineapple
  • 2 Bananas
  • 2 Oranges

All you have to do is place in the blender and blend for about 30 seconds.

*I usually make double this recipe to drink every morning and that gives me enough energy to get through my entire day until around 3pm. It’s because fruit has a lot of calories and regulates your blood sugar levels. This is especially good for vegans and athletes.*

Papaya Smoothie2I saved some of the fruit to give to the kids for an after school snack. Kids love these smoothies and it’s a great way to get their day started right so they have lots of energy and feel clear and energized for learning. Hope you enjoy this wonderful tasting and delicious recipe. Try out some of your own recipes sometime too, its fun to be creative!
