No need to make this complicated because after all you are just eating fruits and vegetables. Really all you need is a knife and a cutting board and you can create some pretty amazing recipes.

I like using ceramic knives because they hardly ever get dull and when you cut up bananas, apples, or avocados they don’t turn brown as quickly, if at all. You should get a few different ones so you have options. If you get good ones they will never dull. I found this great set with good reviews on Amazon at a mid range price.
You can use any cutting board you would like. My favorite is bamboo. Using bamboo is good to use for sanitary reasons and is also Earth friendly. Here is a great one that I found on Amazon.
You will need some kind of blender if you want to go on the raw food diet. You can use any blender for blending things that don’t require a lot of power, but if you want to use it a lot for making smoothies, raw soups, and other recipes you better invest in a decent blender. Vita Mix is the very best and they have a 7 year warranty. Even if you are not on a raw food diet you will benefit greatly from this just to have your morning smoothies. I love my blender and have blended so many things and it’s just like new.
If you have these three things you can successfully go on the raw food diet and be healthy. If you would like to make more advanced recipes you may need a few more items.

A food processor is handy if you need to grind down things more easily. You can process things that you aren’t able to blend like nuts and seeds. You can control the kind of consistency that you want. It will also slice, shred, and grate vegetables. I love my food processor and use it all the time for fresh salsa! A food dehydrator is nice to have if you would like to make raw crackers or dehydrate your fruits and vegetables. I also like to use the dehydrator for almonds. You will need a good juicer so you can create your favorite fruit and vegetable juices. You will love the way you feel when you make juicing a part of your daily routine. Juicing is very good for your health because it gives you the condensed amount of vitamins and minerals in a smaller portion. You can experiment and make different blends, some will be good for detox, others for beauty, and for making sure you are getting all the nutrients your body needs. This is really important.
